What this page covers

This page describes what happens to information you send through this website. How we handle data inside client projects is described separately on our Data Practices page.

Information you send us

When you submit the Start a Project form we receive what you typed into it: your name, business email, company, website, an optional phone number, the project details relevant to what you selected, and your notes. We use it to reply to you and to scope the work you are asking about.

The form also records how long the page was open before submission. That is a spam control, not a behavioural measure, and it is discarded once the submission is accepted.

Third parties involved

We do not run this website end to end ourselves, so your submission passes through service providers acting on our behalf. They process it to deliver the service and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

• Website hosting

  Serves these pages and keeps standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type and the page requested.

• Form handling

  Receives what you type into the Start a Project form and passes it to the mailbox and, where configured, the system we track enquiries in.

• Email

  Delivers our reply and stores the resulting conversation.

Analytics

No analytics or tracking product is running on this website at present. If that changes, this page will name the provider and say what it records before it is switched on.

What we do not do with it

We do not sell it. We do not add it to a prospect dataset, our own or anyone else’s. We do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Sending us an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything.

Email

If you email us directly, that message and your address sit in our mailbox for as long as we need them to handle the enquiry and any resulting work.

Retention and removal

Enquiry details are kept while the conversation is active and for a period afterwards in case you come back to it. You can ask us to delete them at any time and we will confirm when it is done.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser between visits.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Ask us and a person will handle it — there is no form and no process to navigate.

We have not sought a compliance certification for this website and do not claim one. What we can tell you is exactly what happens to your information, which is what this page is for.
