Don’t Let Good Prospect Data Go Stale
We review, re-verify, update and maintain your prospect database so your team is not working from yesterday’s information.
At a glance
- The problem
- The data you bought last year is quietly going out of date.
- The outcome
- A database that stays current instead of decaying between campaigns.
Where the work actually gets slow
The data you bought last year is quietly going out of date.
Prospect data does not fail all at once. People change roles, companies restructure, domains change hands — and a file that was accurate in January is materially wrong by December.
Refresh is the least glamorous work in prospecting and the highest-return. It costs a fraction of building a list again, and it keeps the asset you already paid for usable.
What this covers
- Existing database refresh
- Contact re-verification
- Job change detection
- Company change detection
- Outdated record replacement
- Re-enrichment
- Duplicate cleanup
- Status updates
- Monthly refresh
- Quarterly refresh
- Scheduled maintenance
- Recurring data management
- Suppression and exclusion handling
A database that stays current instead of decaying between campaigns.
What makes this work
One-time refresh
A single pass over an existing database: re-verify, update what moved, replace what died, remove duplicates.
Scheduled refresh
Monthly or quarterly cycles so the file never drifts far from current. Cadence is set to how fast your segment actually changes.
Managed data maintenance
Ongoing ownership of the database — refresh, suppression handling, replacement sourcing and reporting on what changed each cycle.
Every record carries its status
Verified, Risky or Not Found — on every delivery, without exception.
Passed the agreed verification checks.
Potentially usable, but uncertainty remains and is clearly identified.
We could not verify it reliably, so we do not guess.
Catch-all
Catch-all is an attribute of the domain, not a status of its own. A catch-all record is still returned as Verified, Risky or Not Found.
Built for low-bounce outreach
Our verification workflow is designed around a hard-bounce target of 2% or less for eligible Verified-status records sent within the agreed verification window. Catch-all and Risky records are classified separately, with project-specific conditions confirmed before delivery.
- Applies to Verified-status records only; Risky records are excluded by definition.
- Catch-all records are classified separately and fall outside the target.
- Records must be sent within the verification window agreed in the project scope.
- Excludes bounces caused by sender-side configuration, domain reputation or throttling.
- Remedy — review, replacement or credit — and the claim window are defined in each project scope.
Refresh & Maintenance — common questions
It depends on how fast your segment moves. Quarterly suits most B2B databases; fast-moving segments — startups, agencies, high-churn industries — benefit from monthly cycles. We set cadence from your data, not a default.
Where the scope includes replacement, yes — a contact who has left is researched again at the same account so the segment keeps its size and shape.
Excluded records are held on a suppression list for your account and checked on every future delivery, so removed contacts are not reintroduced by a later project.
